Dear Beautiful People (a.k.a. Heroes) --

This past week we continued with phase two of drop-offs thanks to YOUR donations and generosity! Below we’ve got some lovely photos and videos to share that we so hope you enjoy <3 Of course, special thanks to the extended families of Izzy’s mom, Perla, and dad, RJ!!!

Additional thanks to Rachael Leigh Cook (re: Daniel’s wifey!) who loaned a helping hand and stopped by CHLA to represent Team Isaias and meet some of Izzy’s nurses! We can’t tell you how moving this day was for us -- even though Izzy had undergone radiation treatments that morning, he was running all over like he owned the place! We got to see that not only is he a precocious fellow with tons of energy, but that he is truly loved by the entire staff of CHLA. We also had the pleasure of meeting another young patient and a friend of Izzy’s who is also fighting cancer. This fight is a cruel and inexplicable one, and we send so much love and many prayers to the children and families who are engaged in this battle. Special warmth to the family of Nikky, Izzy’s best friend who is no longer with us. Please keep this beautiful, ceaselessly generous family in your prayers.

Thank you also to Amy Malin at True Heart Events who put us in touch with the generous folks at Britax who furnished a brand new car seat for Izzy’s dad’s family.

This week will mark our final phase of drop-offs (!!) and final thank you’s to all of you who made this possible. Till then, peruse the albums and share it with other Team Isaias members!
